In the early seventies you could say as young man I was a UofL fan. I was a decent athelete who played football and baseball. My parents didn't have alot of money , but saved enough to send me to a weeklong football camp held at the Belknap campus. We stayed in the dorms on campus.
Vince Gipson was the UofL coach at the time.
I can honestly say that after being treated so bad that after that week I quit football and switched to being a UK fan for life. I now cheer for whoever UofL is playing, doesn't matter which sport. That week ruined for me what could have been a decent chance of playing college ball at some level.
Go FSU!!!!!!!

I have a feeling that you could make a lot of friends on this board.

The first mistake is You went to the UL campus without weapons and back up head busters. Just ask Fla St about how they were treated last time they were there.. On national television their crack dealing fan base launched drinks , boxes and various other garbage at the team when they left. That's the team , the fans , the players, the staff and admin, security etc getting splashed with drinks and garbage and who knows what else was tossed. The ACC should have known what trash would come out of the hoods up there before allowing them to join. ........In other words don't televise a game in Sodom & Gamorah and not expect the trashy people of that city to show their A$$'s.

I would hate them if I'd never lived in Ky and didn't know the trash that resides in that unfair city.
