He is awful.<div>
</div><div>Some of Cohen's pitching decisions make no sense.</div><div>

Our two best bullpen pitchers pitched yesterday, so the bullpen is much weaker today. But you pull the starter after just one inning where he gave up two runs? It's not like Norris has been terrible all year. His ERA is very good and he pitched 5 scoreless innings against Auburn earlier this year.He might have figured it out and put together four or five good innings in, but Cohen didn't give him a chance. And then put Diaz in? Cohen just does some things that make me shake my head and ask if he has any sense.

I completely agree. Cohen's pitching decisions make absolutely zero sense.

and we need to just get through this game. Plus, it will give him experience that Diaz can use in JUCO next year.

I do agree that he should have given Norris a longer outing. Cohen trusts Stratton too much and Norris not enough.

We were only down 4-3 with two outs and two runners on base in the fourth when Diaz replaced Jones. Diaz then proceeded to allow the two inherited runners to score and gave up two more runs of his own. Of course, Diaz wouldn't have had to pitch if Norris stupidly hadn't been pulled after just one inning.</p>

8 when Diaz came in, we were down 5 or 6 to 3. Diaz came in after Jones. It is a horrendous coaching decision by Cohen to put in a ****** true freshman in a situation like that when you are looking to keep it close.
