There are 6 offensive starters graduating next year including 4 out of the 5 offensive linemen. There are 6 defensive starters graduating in addition. The only positive is the QB and the QB are back next year.

What team is he waiting for him to leave?

I think he is waiting for the Texas job...or he stays at Houston and finishes what he started, or he waits for Urban Meyer to leave Ohio State...he can name his next job

Sounds like Rutgers Offense coming into this year... except RU graduated it's QB as one of the 6 graduating starters. And with Kaleb J being promoted to the Ravens roster yesterday... three of these Offensive starters are on NFL active rosters this season.

Any chance Houston can develop into a viable expansion candidate for the Big 12 in the next couple of years?

Same reason Schiano stayed at Rutgers over Michigan. The chance to build something special and or waiting til his dream job opens

He has the #37 recruiting class for a commuter school. And won the NC with a 3rd string QB. His star is not dimming.

Houston has built more dorms and is actively trying to become a destination school. They just finished the on campus stadium and the rest of the campus is very nice.
