B/C our Defense is 12% better than the #2 team in the SEC in Red zone scoring

and we are allowing a TD 21% of the time in the RedZone. That is all that matters. Those 2 stats win you every game you play

1. MSU, 57.9% RZ scoring against, 31.6% RZ TD scoring against.
2. Auburn, 69.8%, 52.2%
3. TSUN, 78.6%, 35.7%

I don't care how many yards we give up in a game, so long each of those drives stalls and results in no points against us.

6-0
Scoreboard

In the end, that's the only statistic that matters.

I would like to see the rating for our red zone defense. It's gotta be good after the Auburn game.

this team hasn't played 60 minutes, yet... that is scary

when they need to get off the field, they are damn good at getting off the field

Because people realize that stats can be misleading, and are in this case.

What's

there to talk about? It really doesn't mean much, when you take our red zone scoring % into account.

Because at the end of the game, if you gain eleventy billion yards, but I have more points, who wins?

I've always thought yards allowed is kind of a meaningless metric compared to points allowed.

because he is becoming recognized as one of the top up-and-coming Defensive Coordinators in the nation. I was concerned when Manny bolted for Texas, but Collins has proven to get up to speed very quickly.

It's not just the stats. There's chaos in the defense. Players don't know if they're 1A or 1B. 1A LB's are playing with 1B DL. 1A CB's are playing with 1B safeties. It's depth-chart schizophrenia.**
