This is exactly why arkansas fans got tired of Nutt. Loaded rosters every year with tons of potential, picked to compete for the west time and time again....but he ALWAYS loses at least 2 games a year he should have won. He's good for 7-5 or 8-4 almost every year. If he can do that, Ole Miss should be glad to have him. I'd take that. But there's a 99% chance he'll never do much better than that, and his teams will never reach their full potential. If he was ever gonna do it, it would be this year. He has an NFL QB, an NFL something in Dexter, a couple of NFL DLs, and solid talent everywhere else. Throw in the "easiest" schedule possible for an SEC team and there's no reason not to go 10-2 at the least. He won't do it. Even if they go 1-1 against Bama and LSU, they will lose at least one more game out of Auburn, Arkansas, MSU, Vanderbilt, or TN. Book it.
