Texas Tech is not sitting still, currently completing a $30 million dollar basketball practice facility. They plan to compete at a high level in the future. Hard to believe, but fact.

People have been talking about Beard before he joined UNLV/Texas Tech. I don't think he's leaving. He is a Texas boy. He quit UNLV after two weeks to go to back to Texas.

I could see him hanging tight for a few years. You have to think over the next 3-5 years you could have UK, Duke, UNC open! And hell depending on what happens at KS.........

That....and no state income tax on his earnings in Texas make it a much easier situation to deal with..
