Looking at the television schedule for Saturday's SEC games, I see that the MSU game is the only one not being televised. (I don't count ESPN3 as television since it is broadcast solely over the internet.) I thought the home games of every SEC school would be televised by either the SEC network, one of the ESPN channels, or CBS. I know that our matchup with UAB is not a marquee game but neither is Arkansas-Nichols State, Auburn-San Jose State, Bama-Florida Atlantic, South Carolina-East Carolina, LSU-Sam Houston State, Missouri-Toledo, Tennessee-Arkansas State, or A&M- Lamar. Does anyone know why the MSU game is the only one not on television? Also, who decided on a 1:00 p.m. kickoff on the first Saturday in September for a game that is not televised? Given the heat this time of year, I would have thought a night game would have been more appropriate.
