alabama arguably has the best offensive line in the country - we don't (to put it lightly). on their last drive against lsu, they left a back in to block, and had 1 and one time, 2 tight ends pass blocking in addition to their all american offensive line. aTm blitzes us on 3rd and 9/3rd and 11, etc., and we are no backs/no tight ends with tyler getting his teeth knocked in. I don't get it - tyler has the talent to hit a receiver even if it is 3 receivers against 4 db's as long as you give him time---if it is a passing down, WE HAVE TO MAX PROTECT in these last 3 games --- we got away with it the first 7, because those teams didn't have the horses---alabama had them, aTm had them, LSU has them, ark has them, and tsun has them.

I thought it was interesting, after the game Saban was talking to the Gameday crew, and he said (paraphrasing) 'Every Thursday we review what the opponent runs on D in the 2 minute drill, and tonight they did exactly what we expected them to do."

It was obvious they knew there was soft spots in that coverage about 15-25 yards out because Norwood sat down right there on the first three plays. I dont know if they picked up the weakside blitz on film inside the 20 or if it was just a bit of luck, but apparently Saban drilled Chavis on that one. Cost them the season, and probably put Bama in the NC.
