Maryland is apparently meeting with him so he's not against coaching "up north." We have to start thinking B1G. All these candidates being mentioned are upgrades to kyle flood but we can still do so much better. Its worth at least meeting with him. If he says no then so be it but you gotta at least ask.

I don't think he's meeting with Maryland but i know they contacted him. But yes is agree i've been saying this since the minute flood was fired that we need to go after Richt.

Even if we met Richt's demands - can't see him coming here.....he wants to go to an established school where he can win often and quickly and contend every year....

Examples: South Carolina; Nebraska; Texas

Maybe, or maybe not, after Georgia and its demands heading to another "factory" might not exactly be what the guy is looking for right now. We'll see.

Richt's a Miami grad. I'm amazed we haven't heard about the Canes expressing interest in him.

I disagree.

He has already shown he can't win in the SEC and USCjr is not UGA. He also doesn't seem to be a good fit at Miami. Are Nebraska or Texas open? Plank is going all out for Maryland and they are also building no facilities. I don't think you can compete with that.

Richt is a power coach. He would Lord over NJ recruitng. Think about the relationships he built with recruits in GA and Fla. Add possible transfers and top Jucos and this thing could turn around in a blink of an eye. He's that level of a coach

It's safe to say we have no idea who we have reached out to or who has reached out to us. The mods on all these sites do a good job but they only hear what is fed to them. This site was reporting that nothing would probably go down AFTER he had already hired a new AD on Friday.
