Why not ol Tyrone? Yeah back to back black coaches but Nix is young and has alot of energy and enthusiasm. I know he is all Defensive minded but hell that is what MSU is... Defense. We could go out and find anybody of the streets to match what we've done on Offense the past 5 years. Surely he could find a good OC.

Seriously maybe not at State but the guy needs to be offered at some point soon. What has USM done esp defensively since he's left? Then he goes to SC with Spurrier, and they had a couple of 8 to 9 wins together then he leaves and look at them now. Now he's at UM and look at their drastic improvement of the defensive side of the ball. Just a thought ****
In Nix's 1st year at USM they allowed 16.9 PPG and 102 YPG rushing. In his 4th and last year, they allowed 24.8 PPG and 175 YPG rushing. A lot of USM fans weren't too upset when he left.
