</div><div>Lee got them there and should have still started after the Alabama game. Bring in Jefferson off the bench if Lee didn't perform....that's the formula that worked for them. Jefferson straight sucks when he shoulders the brunt of the load.</div>

But it wouldn't have made any difference, and Les knew that. Still, at that point you have to try something cause it was obvious Jefferson wasn't going to win the game for you.

Did you see them post Lee's career stats vs. the Elephants? 1 TD, 7 Ints. I'm not sure he would have gotten on the field even if Jefferson got injured.
