You should care. Understanding our public officials finances tells a bunch. You may not care and that is fine. But don't think your personal perspective is legitimate for what is best for the country as a whole.

I care more about the results of the IRS audits than the returns themselves. Did he play by the rules? Did he follow the law? If he did, then it doesn't matter what his returns look like.

I care about both. I'm very concerned about his foreign investment and debts especially moreso now that he isn't divesting. He is on track for impeachment on this topic and he will lose. I am not hoping for it because that will be bad in so many ways.
