Why social distancing matters.

[Jeffreauxdawg]

And why those little ***** on spring break should be cut off..
And why I may get rid of my cell phone.
1:00 video, watch it's cool... And scary.

[Hugh's Burner Phone]

Excuse me while I go throw my phone in my neighbor's pond.

[horshack.sixpack]

Cool. I'm sure that this de-identified location data only, right?!?

[Jeffreauxdawg]

You bet. And I am certain the NSA was shocked to see this kind of technology exists.

[TBone.sixpack]

Wow. That is indeed scary as hell.

The phone def listens to us also. I told the wife I needed more Reese’s cups earlier and a banner ad for Reese’s popped up 10 minutes later.

[horshack.sixpack]

I feel better now.

[RocketDawg]

Looks like not many spring breakers in Ft Lauderdale came back to Alabama or Mississippi.

Even if you have a 2000s era flipphone with no GPS, they can still track you via your IMEI

[horshack.sixpack]

You probably don't want to know how many cameras are out in public recording everything. I also probably shouldn't tell you that there are services where public entities and businesses can register their own cameras to make them available in a huge portal for law enforcement to use. That way, instead of having to go get the company's footage and assess something that happened, the police can simply login to the portal and see all the cameras that are subscribed.

I just have never been worried about a big brother situation. I have a phone in my pocket. It's impossible to stay off the grid.

[hatfieldms]

Yep. There is no reason worrying about what you cannot control. You can be tracked anywhere you go through many different avenues

Amazing how some folks need visual representation of something they know deep down is occurring. Denial of some sort?

Kinda like the Ray Rice thing. Everyone knew he KNOCKED the 17 OUT his fiance, but didn't really wanna believe how bad it was until the video came out.
