It dawned on me tonight that since each season is independent of one another with different actors and story lines, there is no guarantee that the main characters live through this. Going to be a very interesting season finale.

Some of the things said tonight sure make it look like Rust is either going to kill himself or die by the end of next Sunday's.

I thought the same thing. Wouldn't be surprised if both of them get killed.

The lawnmower dude is becoming more and more relevent and the two black detectives are dicks.

Question regarding stars. Does anyone with the start tats or stars on their clothing indicate a bastard child of one of the tuttle clan? Or maybe a follower of the yellow king clan? I was reading on another site that Maggie had a dress with stars on it in this last episode. I didn't catch that though.

Not wanting to spoil in the title

He's the man with the scarred face. He's the spaghetti man. He had a beard in episode #2 when Cohle was talking to him. And, they had yet to hear anything about the man with the scars.

I don't even have HBO but for some reason the show has popped on my Comcast demand box. I'm on the 2nd episode right now. Going to binge watch it before comcast pulls the plug. Pretty good from what I have seen so far.

That is what made me consider him

No way a character off of a show like Boardwalk would take on a bit character...

Interesting. I hadn't seen the flowers. I think a lot of stuff was done for symbolic reasons, but not everything, and people are running with theories based on the smallest details. Most of those have been shot down, as we've seen that this story is pretty straightforward.

The movie poster is probably a good example. Could be symbolic, sure. But more than likely it was just an artistic choice by someone at HBO.
