Did the UO coach ever explain why after ever TD the Ducks went for two? Had they just kicked conventional PAT's, Oregon might have won the game. The Quakers took 5 points off the scoreboard.

He was asked about it on the sidelines after the game. He mentioned something about seeing some kind of mismatch in personnel. It didn't make any sense to me but that is what he said.

They have a decent kicker.
Think they got the first one, thought they'd come easy, tried the next 2, and after that they were just chasing points.
The last one was actually a bad coaching decision. If they had kicked for 1, they would have had the chance to win with a final FG, or at least put the pressure on Nebraska to go for 2 if they had scored late (which they did) to go up by 3.

I thought the same thing. If there's very little time left in the game, there may be no real advantage to getting a 5-point lead, compared to the 4-point lead you already have. But with that much time left, kicking the PAT made much more sense.

He was for sure correct on 2 that I was paying attention to (not including the first one they converted on).
In those 2 times I saw we only 2 defenders covering 3 of their players (on the far left side). The WR was shouting for the ball but the kicker didn't see that they had numbers and ran a different direction. The other time they attempted to throw it in that direction but it wasn't a very good play and we broke up the pass.
