needed another class or two to get into a SEC school. He would have needed to take a class in the summer. He made up his mind the night before signing day he wasnt going to do that.

than most schools, although you'd think a tech school would have similar requirements. Also, to get admitted to State from a CC, you MUST have college algebra. So, it could be that he called to commit and was told "great, we'll see you in August once you pass algebra." Maybe he was in algebra for the spring and dropped it making admission to State a risk he wasn't going to take.
