The thing that I will always wonder
Is how we would have done with Quay starting over Cherrington. I'm sure that Quay misses an assignment here and there- but there is no doubt he was disruptive. I would have to think that would have made Boyd and Autry better players this year as well. I really hate busting on a walk-on- but if we're only rushing 3-4, we HAVE to get pressure with our d-line. You can't put someone out there just because you like him and he does what he is supposed to in practice.

we have no pass rush. Johnny football *** raped us. Any spread team we play , no matter who the corch is, were screwed....why??
well Quay is a force... but, WE only saw him when we were getting *** raped or beating Mid Tn St.. put his big *** in the first quarter against LSU... Did Cherry do anything ? I hope Cherry and Siddoway get an island.... thats whre they belong...... They did nothing...
Good god people step back from the keyboard.The things I have learned from SPS the past 48 hours: the DL gets no pressure, our RBs are too small to pound it inside, Russell holds on to the ball too long, our receivers get no seperation, we don't have a WR that can stretch the feild, Dak should be our starter, our safeties are out of position, Mullen is going to Boston College and we should turn down our bowl invitation. Is there anything else I am missing?

If it were me, I'd move Skinner to DE. I think Chris Jones could play right away, which means Chris will sit him on the bench regardless since he is a freshman.

If Wilson doesn't F it up, we have talent on the DLine for next year. First, he needs to move Eulls to DT because he isn't a DE. He's 290 and slow, but he's strong and could be a solid run-stopper in the middle. Secondly, Preston Smith needs to start next year(should have been starting this year). He leads our teams in sacks and can rush the passer. Next years D-Line:

Johnny Football "*** raped" nearly every team he played this year....we was not the only ones...
I don't care what combo we play as long as Eulls isn't in it. Great kid but he has been 10x worse and less productive than Cherrington for 2 years. Through 25 games Eulls has 1 sack and 3 TFL w/1 of them being the sack. Out of position or not, those are horrendous numbers.
You can like Siddoway or not, but he was one of our top 2 tackles (along with Clausell). If you don't start Siddoway, then we would have started Damien Robinson, who clearly was not ready to take on good pass rushers.
Yeah, maybe we should have gone back to California and got another Jr. College OL who could help us right away, like we did a couple of years ago. Great evaluation by our coaches.
