we have great facilities that we are still putting big money in. it has been shown you can recruit here. it's a great city for a family. great fan base that shows up. and we have shown we will pay top dollar.

if Stoops left tomorrow I could see some big names licking their chops to get in here. if have shown that UK is now for the first time backing football. in the past it was jut something to watch before basketball started.

Ky brings a lot to the table. we will give you everything you need to be successful here. me I want Fuentie from Memphis. I think the guy with all the tools we could give him would blow up here at Ky. other names like Pellini would also be successful here. a lot less pressure then Neb.

never thought I would say this but Kiffen in this atmosphere would be amazing here. he is good with the public and is just cocky enough to share the stage with Cal and even up stage him at times. it would be exciting times having Kiffen and Cal in the same city lol. could you imagine the media exposure? wow that would be fun. now all we get is boring confused football. no personality or identity.

Wonder if Bama brought bball players on the field for introductions during a Football game? No great Football coach would ever want to play second fiddle to bball. Don't blame them.

......Signed Larry Fedora at #17 UNC (9-1 (6-0))......hired from So Miss.

To get a good coach....our AD will have to do some work to try and find a good coach ......and for a school with UK's history that means actually looking at HCs in the MAC, CUSA, S/belt, MW, CAA, SoCON, etc.

UK football fans have been the most loyal in the nation. If Bama fans had to put up with what UK fans had to put up with, you would be able to hear a pin drop in Bryant-Denny Stadium. Guaranteed. Spare us all the horse crap!

Who said anything about fans being loyal? They won't have to deal with what UK fans have to put up with because they and the powers that be recognize the only sport on campus that matters is Football. Saban might agree to share his stage, but if he didn't...it wouldn't be shared.

Probably because Blanton Collier (in 1961) was the last head coach to leave UK and have success. Graveyard, retirement home, losers gallery, whatever you want to call it. If I'm any good I'm not answering when Mitch calls unles I need just one last big paycheck.

Non existent instate recruiting base. 100% reliant on out of state recruits. How do you convince a 5 star to go to UK vs going to the home state power school?

Absolutely horrible tradition and reputation. Recruits are aware of this.

Most SEC schools will always outspend UK no matter what UK does.

Most SEC schools have more passionate fan and donor support than UK.

Sub .500 since the mid 50s.

About .500 for it's history

A culture around a program that is awful

You can cover a pile of poo with all kinds of pretties, but underneath the poo still exist.

How does that culture get changed??? Not sure. No one has found that magic formula yet.

wow I just do not see it like some of you. I'm looking at today not 50 years ago. in this day and time the money is their to have good fball and bball. what it takes is having the admin behind it.

if our admin can convince a good coach the money and backing is their U.S. fans will do the rest. as far as recruiting a lot of schools have to recruit out of state. this is 2015 traveling from point A to point B is really not a issue any more.

and their is plenty of talent to go around. tons of young talented with a good staff could become successful. so not buying the history a basketball school excuses any more. in this day and time you back a young energetic coach you will see results.
