By letting Relf have some more time on the field. Lee gives us the best possible chance of winning, and the most tipped balls in SEC history.

complexion and flow of the game with his running ability. He's certainly a weapon that is nice to use 2 or 3 series a game.

I'm assuming you missed the LSU, GT, Houston, and Florida games. Lee can throw the ball decently for 10 to 15 yards, but Relf needs to see the field some.

but he also is incredibly erratic. Much more so than Tyson. When he throws, he has no idea where the ball is going, and even though he was an option QB in HS, he will pitch the ball at some very scary times.

+1

It's time to let anyone else other than Lee have a shot. It's not fair to Lee to keep sending him out there to further embarrass himself and screw up on a weekly basis. And it's not fair to the other 21 guys playing their asses off and giving themselves chance after chance to win games they probably have no right to be in from a talent aspect only to let 1 guy, the same guy, keep pissing it away every week. I don't care if it's Relf, Stegall, Bumphis, or a damn DL, if he can stretch the field vertically at all, that player needs a shot starting Saturday.

Lee embarassing himself and Relf embarassing himself? The result is still the same except that Lee can at least keep us in the game and give us a chance to win.

first of all Lee is an absolute horrible qb and so is Relf(thanks croom) but our other players are talented, their just young. in time they will develope. its time to stop saying we dont have any talent, if the players didnt they wouldnt be recruited and playing, our team can play good teams and win like we should expect them to, they need a good qb that is accurate and can see the damn field.......start being more optimistic.

Just a plug to our coach from the Univerisity coach. 8 carries for 34 yards in very very very limited action.

He should come in for a few plays at a time, and run some option or wishbone. He should never be relied on to throw the ball consistently. Anyone who thinks he needs to start over Lee hasn't been watching the games. Lee does not "suck" and does a lot of good things on the field, but he is limited due to his height.

Tipped passes or staring at a LB and throwing the ball right to him for a pick 6 (Coleman @ AU)?

Relf's inability to pass has more to do with game experience rather than ability. Once he gets more snaps, he will get comfortable in the pocket and work out his timing with receivers. When that happens, the field will open up even more for him because he will be a threat to throw. Otherwise defenses are going to load the box when is under center and shut him down. Besides, he needs more reps for next year. It never hurts to have a servicable backup.

Yeah, that makes sense.
