We are above average. Never elite. Just played a bunch of patsies.

When we are beating Portland and St. Joseph's in pitching duels, you know you have serious problems.

Not buying it....

we haven't helped our pitchers, but we've outhit them. This ungodly string of double plays can't continue. They have four of the twenty they've had all year. We had three or four in one game against Central Arkansas. As Polk used to say ... "that's baseball." These things will even themselves out.

Only if you had unrealistic expectations. Losing an extra inning game to the #2 team in the country isn't exactly a disaster. It's disappointing of course. But the best realistic expectation for this team from the beginning was to host a regional as a non-national seed. We're still very much on pace to do that.

It's the way we lost. This team is built on pitching and defense. Pitching and defense lost this game

Yep. Also we couldn't find enough sticks to out pace UCA. I will say we hit the ball better than I thought tonight. However I never expected us to win this series based on the performance so far. If we get one win, that will be an achievement this weekend.

This one was too. That's why I'm worried. Pitching and defense was suppose to be our strength

If you had told me before the season we'd be 18-3 right now I'd have taken it in a heartbeat.

If we play B+ baseball in our 3 loses, we're probably still undefeated.

Cut the walks and errors out.
