I rarely think about that or remember that game anymore. The program has come a long way since that night when we were battling a team that we weren't supposed to beat, hoping we could somehow win enough games to be considered for the NIT.

I still can't believe Weiskamp's shot went in. A bank shot from nearly behind the basket. Unbelievable.
The funny thing was that the guy from Nebraska almost hit one like that the other night.

Geo had hit a clutch shot off a timeout to put us ahead. Great full length of the court pass to Weiskamp over Eugene's outstretched arm

I really didn't need to be reminded of that shot. Can still see it, unfortunately.

It can’t be that much of a moment if whoever wrote that can’t even get the score correct

Wieskamp could try that shot 10,000 more times under those same circumstances and never make it again.

You remember when they used to have the H-O-R-S-E competitions at the halftimes of NBA games on Channel 2? That was one of those shots.

Connor mccafferty's baseball skill throwing long passes has helped Iowa prevail in late game situations a few times over his career at Iowa.
This pass was perfect.
Good luck to RU today vs dirty badgers!
