Chandler has a really bright future for sure. He’s gonna be really good. I think he will be similar to Richie Saunders when he fully gets the college game.
I sure hope so and I think Chandler will be a big weapon for us as well. Saunders is a really good player . Wish we could of got him here.
I think I said this earlier in the thread, but it’s gone on so long, not sure…but in 23-24, Wilkerson shot .347 from 3…against CUSA competition. Chandler shot the EXACT same…347 from 3…against the best league in the land. So Wilkerson made a big jump this last year to .445…what makes you think Chandler can’t make a big jump also? Plus, do you not agree Chandler is a better defensive player/rebounder/passer? Wilkerson’s stats other than his shooting percentage are very pedestrian.
I didnt really find the remarks to be racist but rather true.

Yeah, supposedly on Twitter, you know how easy that is to fake but in their profiles and follows they were IU fans.
There weren’t terrible or anything, but I can see why they would be taken that way especially these days.

I have a confession to make. A few days before his announcement, one of the ESPNs played the Bobby Knight 30 for 30 about Neil Reed and Knight’s firing.
I won’t bore everybody with the details but my hyper fixation kicked in, and I had like a three day bender of reading through everything I could find about Knight’s entire tenure, on a season by season level. To the point where I developed my own narrative that supplanted my own lived/fan-based experience, particularly for that devastating 88-93 stretch and beyond, which mirrors what we just experienced with Cal from 13-24.
When the Wilkerson news broke, it felt like I had accidentally cosmically shifted some weight, or tapped into some Hegelian notion of the spirit of the time. For that I apologize.

Good, because at UK we want a team that competes for championships, not watch one player shot and dribble the whole game and lose.
I like how Indiana is being talked about like it’s a mid major now. He can go there and get all the touches he wants

Feels like he outted himself. That's cool. We don't need guys like Wilkerson or Lewis. No use for me first guys or guys who are scared to compete. Those guys won't win you a championship because a championship isn't their goal.
