Better than Arkansas. Thought he was expected to go to Arkansas since he's from there.

Mgbako played in the second toughest conference in basketball and was ROY and nobody wants him.
Alvaro played 3 regular season games against P5 teams in his two years and scored 5 points in those games.

You’re making assumptions on multiple fronts. I think they have missed on 2 or 3 and got 2 now. Believing the money you hear in twitter is stupidity. Most likely it was floated by his agent to get more.
I agree with what you share saying but I’m telling you Mgbako is not a dude you pay big money to rely on winning a lot of games. I’ve watched a ton of his games and there is a lot missing from his game. Especially effort, defense, and rebounding.
I sure hope so because if they give Mgbako from IU 2 million to come play at UK. He will be the most overpaid player in college basketball next year. I understand what you’re saying it’s just hearsay but seems like there is an awful lot of smoke about the 2 million.
As long as we get Alvaro I don’t care about the rest of the plan , lol

It’s weird because Alvaro hasn’t been reported on much at all while Mgbako has been reported on regularly with no commitment from either one of them. I also haven’t heard much about other schools being involved with them.
I agree. IF they gave him that I, as a UK fan, would not be happy.
From what I understand Alvaro has been in Spain so probably hard to get info. I’m hoping they are prioritizing Alvaro and slow playing Mgbako.
Woodson got a lot of highly ranked freshmen and transfers and none of them were as good as projected. Maybe it's more the coach than the players? Indiana looked awesome on paper last season. I'm not saying we should overpay for him, but I wouldn't doubt some of those players are much better in a different system.

You spend 2 mill, if accurate, on game changers. Mgbako is not a game changer and Nostradamus is dead and unable to give us his prediction for next year. If we take this guy with much lower NIL, and coming off the bench, I concur.
