He's been good for us, and still has below a 3.00 ERA. He's had 2 bad outings

Understandable. I agree with taking out Chris now, though. As much as I want to win the tournament, no use wearing out his arm with more important things coming up. Lets just hope the bullpen can finish it.

He just wasn't himself early on- putting him in that starting role was just dumb. Period. I don't know that Cohen did it because it was what he wanted; I think he was feeling some pressure at the time.<div>
</div><div>I do think that start put him back even further.</div><div>
</div><div>He did look good today, and I'm happy for him. He's worked hard and I'm sure this has been a roller-coaster season for him. Probably not how he wanted it to go personally, but I know he's happy to be where they are at as a team.</div>

And he did a good job, but that's normal. He's good against righties with his slider. He's much less effective against lefties, so pitching him 2 innings today was a perfect spot because he faced 6 straight righties. I like Reed but to me, he's turned into more of a righty specialist than the multiple inning guy/closer he was last year. But I think he'll be more effective going forward because we've figured out how to use him better.
