We had a philosophy? It an entirely new defense, philosophy, and scheme. Not enough time to change things that dramatically I wouldn’t think
Ha. Yes. I’m telling y’all Hutzler was fine. The undermining problem was Lebby’s offense. We had a philosophy?
But wasn’t Holeman Cuntzler already fired? Put me down as wanting to see what the new DC can do.Ha. Yes. I’m telling y’all Hutzler was fine. The undermining problem was Lebby’s offense.
From a 3-3-5 to a 3-3-5.It an entirely new defense, philosophy, and scheme. Not enough time to change things that dramatically I wouldn’t think
Oh yeah right. The guy in the $6,000 suit is gonna call plays in the bowl game…COME ON!
They’d have at least 15 practices before bowl. Truthfully they could still run basic 4-2-5 stuff and Arnett could add some subtle hybrid installs from his 3-3-5. Bu depending on what players bolt for portal it could be a mess. But wasn’t Holeman Cuntzler already fired? Put me down as wanting to see what the new DC can do.
Sometimes but mostly 3-3-5Hutzler runs a 4-2-5

You realize the offense consistently scored points at a higher rate than the opponents allowed right?Ha. Yes. I’m telling y’all Hutzler was fine. The undermining problem was Lebby’s offense.
It wasn’t mostly. And it’s not even remotely the same just because you saw 3 down linemen. Not even close.Sometimes but mostly 3-3-5
Sure we did, the line told the DBs they would slow down the ball carriers so the backs could dive at their ankles and hope that at least 3 of them got to the ball carrier at or about the same time because they can't tackle unless there's at least 3 of them thereWe had a philosophy?
Sorry, you are wrong. It wasn’t mostly. And it’s not even remotely the same just because you saw 3 down linemen. Not even close.
He runs a 3-3-5 flex defense. Go look it up. Even AI will tell you.It wasn’t mostly. And it’s not even remotely the same just because you saw 3 down linemen. Not even close.
Yeah, he gone, but you want our crew to learn a new defense in 26 days or less and Arnett to learn his players? They haven't learned their defense in 2 seasons, be real...But wasn’t Holeman Cuntzler already fired? Put me down as wanting to see what the new DC can do.
Allusions Michael! Trucks are what whores do for money!Oh yeah right. The guy in the $6,000 suit is gonna call plays in the bowl game…COME ON!
Absolutely! I am ok seeing what a legit DC can do. I have been critical the very dumb, low IQ, loser Libby, but he made a decent change. Let’s win this bowl and get some momentum into 2026.Yeah, he gone, but you want our crew to learn a new defense in 26 days or less and Arnett to learn his players? With all due respect you don’t know what you’re talking about. And your AI source is wrong. He runs a 4-2-5. He drops to 3 down linemen when they’re tired. He talked about it in an interview saying he was going to mix up fronts because of the SEC tempo. I think what he was really saying without saying it, was he was mixing some 3 down linemen in because of his head coach’s insane tempo and inability to sustain drives, along with his lack of quality depth, he needed to rest guys by going with 3 down sometimes. He ended up having to do it more than he wanted. Casual viewers or people who just don’t understand conflate “three DL = 3-3-5,” ignoring the LB/DB wiring. Hutzler’s base is a 4-2-5 pursuit, while Arnett’s is 3 down all the time with 3 stacked linebackers with shoot penetration + stunts. It’s nothing similar at all.Sorry, you are wrong.

Absolutely notArnett may deserve another shot as HC , he’s learned from his mistakes.
I could see him being head coach in waiting if his defense performs well and Lebby falters. Might be round two.Absolutely not
Ah yes, the ole 4-2-5 defense that never actually is a 4-2-5 and only the really smart people know it's a 4-2-5.***With all due respect you don’t know what you’re talking about. “ In Hutzler’s 4-2-5 defense, Smith plays the all-important “star” position” - https://cdispatch.com/sports/can-sp...or-defensive-turnaround-at-mississippi-state/
You are out of your mind.Ha. Yes. I’m telling y’all Hutzler was fine. The undermining problem was Lebby’s offense.
I want him to coach the game. I want some energy. New scheme.Hopefully Arnett and his new staff can use Bowl practices to evaluate what players to keep while scouting and evaluating future players.
Exactly. I was hoping someone already said it.From a 3-3-5 to a 3-3-5.
