Will Bama's loss help or hurt us next weekend?

They are either going to be lower than whale **** on the bottom of the ocean (in their minds thinking they have nothing to play for) and therefore let us hang around for a while or they will be out for blood......If I had to guess, I'd say it would be the latter of the two......

If they had won today, and were still in the NC hunt, we would have gotten hosed on every call next weekend. We still might but if Bama was 8-1 going into our game, the refs/SEC would not allow us to win in Bryant-Denny.

and plus Saban will be crawling their *** all week they won't come out flat. We will definately have to go out and make the plays to win the game b/c Bama is not going to give it away or make careless mistakes. I think is this experience could make them better for it. But I'm not saying count State out either.

we are an underdog in the game either way. If we can hang around (and we should) they will begin to doubt. I still say Bama by 10.

The bottom line is that the players have to make plays and in the heat of the game, they are not going to be thinking "**** we lost last week, I better play even harder." We have to have a damn good game plan, good execution, and great effort to go into BD and beat Alabama whether they are 9-0 or 7-2.
