Am I correct that the only hit today was that ball CT dropped that should have been scored an error ?

He didn't drop it. Lost it in the sun and landed between he and Armstrong.

Cox has been very strong today. It's nice to see Cox go so long.

I could go on for days... but I sincerely mean everything. He's thrown extremely well today.

I wonder what his role will be when we get into 3 game weekends. Will he be midweek starter?

It does seem unfair to fault the pitcher, but

you can't really blame the outfielder either. Sometimes the sun just gets in the way. It's always considered a hit unless the fielder makes contact with the ball.

Long relief unless Woody's arm is worse than we think. Hard to break into Lindgren Mitchell Woodruff and Graveman.

Nice problem to have especially if one of those 4 go down.

Cox will probably pitch in long relief in SEC play. Cox did what he has to do

in order to be successful and that's pound the bottom of the zone. When he does, he's effective.

We will have to limit Cox' outings or there could be some issues with arm soreness.**

I'm pretty sure he gave up the solo HR, too.

But it was still a very solid outing for him. Nice to bounce back after a rough start last Sunday.

Cox was exceptional with that during scrimmages. When he's got his stuff, everything over the plate is at the knees. He's not a hard thrower, but if he can keep from buckling under pressure, the guy really can locate the ball well.
