I never stated whether I was or I wasn't. Reading comprehension, and recognizing reality from fantasy are not your strong suits.
And you are still not a member. There was never a question. Sorry I have missed the daily entertainment today since I had a few obligations that occupied my time. I should make it by 9 AM tomorrow, and I have some catching up to do. Thank you, dumbass.

Typical. He wasn't just talking about contractors, he was talking about businesses where government employees spend their money when they're working.
I know what he was talking about old man. If the government shuts down the libs care about the businesses that get hurt. When an entire industry gets killed those same people say tough **** to all the businesses that serviced that industry. Pardon me for not buying the faux outrage.

There are many places where entire counties would lose business after business after business if the government jobs weren't there. Everything from fast food franchise owners, to doctors, to building contractors, to cleaning services, gas stations, banks, etc.
That is a good reason for both sides to keep the govt opened instead of playing politics because when it happens it is becausr both sides let it happen.

Hopefully I am missing the discussion here because we are bouncing around to much and comments from some that are meaningless to the conversation - just selfishly offering their name.

Are some of you suggesting that it is necessary that unneeded industries should be kept alive so the government maintains a payroll directly or indirectly via contractors? Is that a function of the government to make an industry so local economies survive. What about foreign bases that no longer serve a purpose. Must that base remain open to reinforce the local economy.

When Gitmo is closed, what is our ongoing obligation to the economy of locals and contractors? Who remembers the little base we had somewhere that was used in bombing practice? The local government want us to abandon the practice and when we complied, they wanted us to reestablish some operation because the local economy suffered too much.

The fed intentionally hit the coal industry. Southern section of state was and is devastated. What is owed to, and for how long, those who were negatively affected.

What is Constitutional responsibility of the Fed Govt that is indebted at least $19 trillion?

I suppose you're right. Only so much of being called son-of-a-*****, liar, stupid, dumbass I'll allow before reacting. I try to keep things civil, but when there's somebody that refuses to do that .... I should just use the ignore button.
