Sorry if Germanian, but can someone confirm if this is true? I did see a thread on one of my favorite msu sites proposing the question of "Who would be our GUest Picker and saw an answer of Christopher Walkin & Will Ferrell. but thats all I saw of it…..But a coworker just came in office and asked me if it was true..?.. That would be Killer!! More Cowbell definitely trumps corndog tossing.

A Ferrell or Galifianakis type would be great for entertainment purposes.

Didn't Ferrell do one last year? Not sure if they like to keep using the same people.

MSU has 0 high profile fans or non-sports grads

except maybe Grisham, who we share with ole miss. You are basically saying you want Papelbon. I wouldn't mind him, but I'd rather have a high profile person jump on our bandwagon, even if for their own sake (a la Katy Perry - who killed it).

Would prefer a celeb from Miss. They would at least understand what this means to the university.

Katy Perry made me cringe every time she said something. The sad part is that it was clear that they had rehearsed it.

Morgan Freeman. And he has MSU ties. the vet school takes care of his horses. Side note, the library has also done some things with him at his house. My sister has seen his Oscar.

I've been hearing it's likely going to be tommy tuberville or Derek Dooley. Although we really should be going after Chris Peterson.

How about Justin Timberlake? He has a home and a golf course in Memphis (Millington) and his family lives there. I'll bet he would love to do it if he is in the Memphis area.
