I've never been a Knicks fan, but this is fun to watch. I can't wait until Melo gets back to see how that works out.<div id="isChromeWebToolbarDiv" style="display:none"></div>

and the #1 reason for this success but it's also been the addition of the 2nd to last man on the bench Steve Novak who has become the deadliest 3-point shooter in the NBA these last 8 games and now they have added J.R. Smith who played very well today AND next week they get Baron Davis and Melo back. I have always hated the Knicks and suddenly they are my favorite team to watch. I'm not alone.

They still may be because I must admit... I'll always like Chicago (even though I'm not a Bulls fan per se) without Derrick Rose, but man... ever since Lin has showed up... it's just been great. I hope Melo doesn't 17 it up and they allow the offense to run through Lin. They can have a team like the Thunder in the East if all the pieces fall exactly in place.

Ripkins pursuit of 2131 and McGwire-v-Sosa in 98 did for MLB. After a major work stoppage and really nothing but Lebron to spark national dialouge, the leagues status would be somewhere between NHL and MLB, in February. Lin even got most people to even forget Sterns non trade screwup. That smug SOB better be thanking his lucky stars every night for a 6'3" dude that 3 weeks ago 8 people out of 300 million Americans had heard of.

The most amazing thing about him is that he literally came out of nowhere. Unlike football or baseball, where a young man some times won't develop into a great player until late high school or even after college, everybody knows who are the great basketball players are by the 8th grade.

Heard his bio- he really wasn't anything special until the last year, where he hired a shot coach and he worked his *** off to develop his game. Couple that with Corch Mike Dantonio's point guard-friendly philosophy, which forgives point guards for turnovers in exchange for making plays and distributing to other shooters, has turned Lin into an NBA phenomenon.
