Neither will. That 24 year old is also killing it on the recruiting front.

he catches a lot of grief but he is not calling all those plays. Folks need to realize we are inept still at some positions and hopefully next year we have an all around QB instead of a one dimensional QB and a better offensive line. I don't see any coaches leaving but I damn sure hope Wilson stays, he is our best recruitor and a heck of a defensive coach.

He was promoted from GA to WR coach. If Mullen wasn't prepared to give him a little time to learn, he should have hired somebody with experience. I'm sure the guy will be 100% better next year - it has to be a huge adjustment going from assisting a position coach to being responsible for a unit. Plus, as stated, he's a great recruiter.

I'm glad we won, but we have to do something about our offensive play calling...it's horrible. We throw when we should run, and run when we should throw. We can't manage the clock at all. Whoever is calling those swing passes to Bumphis needs to be fired. Relf takes 7 seconds to float the damn ball out there, and then it's not accurate when he does. After seeing him throw that pass short, behind, and over the head of Bumphis, why have we not scratched that play from the playbook? Even when we complete it, the defense is all over him bc it took so long for the pass to get there, or Bumphis falls down or drops it.

Or how about on 3rd and 3 we run the "Perkins runs in to Relf and then they try to fall forward" play...it doesn't work. So, 4th and 2....we run the same 17'n play, they run in to each other again and we lose the ball on downs. Why not just pin them deep and let our defense try to score if you're going to run that play?

I know there are some successful plays mixed in too, but I just get really frustrated with our play calling. I think Les(or a better playcaller) is the only thing holding this team back right now. We have no O-line, but we have enough skill players to do better than what we did this year offensively.

I'm definitely pumped about the win, but I wish we would get rid of Les.

True, they ran the counter twice, but the first time was poor execution on one of Relf or Perkins that screwed the timing up. The second time they ran it, the defense just sniffed it out. Relf and Perkins didn't bump into each other. I felt that Relf should have handed the ball to Perkins because when he hit the whole to block the line backers, he was well past the first down marker.

40's. Bumphis is the highest rated wr we have and it looks like to me he has gotten a little bit stocky, thus losing some of his quickness.
