The crux for Slive is this... If we win a couple of more, and if Alabama loses anymore, we become the bell cow. No matter his feelings, he wants 2 SEC team in the playoffs for the good of the league ($).

I think the better question is... will State and OM suddenly start getting some favorable calls during the upcoming weeks? People can make fun of us all they want for not being on Bama's or Florida's level of support, but the fact of the matter is that the two schools in MS have given the SEC media coverage over the last couple weeks like this conference hasn't seen in years. If you boys don't think Slive wants this gravy to train to keep rolling full steam ahead, you're crazy

I told my friend this in the Junction before the Auburn game, speaking only of MSU at the time, but I said if we win today, look for calls to start going our way more and more. Like it or not, Slive sees what we have on the field and if he can help get us to the promise land, he knows we have a damn good shot at winning it all. Hate to say it, but same goes for OM.
