Lemme see if I got this straight. So at an awards event where they have diversity rules to even be considered as a nominee...a black man who won for best actor ***** slaps the black comedian who is hosting the event and the encounter is to be blamed on systemic racism/white supremacy? OK. Got it.
I actually think it’s kind of funny that the very prestigious Oscars basically turned into the Source Awards...which I had heard we’re making a comeback this year. Maybe this was a promo???

Remember the son wanted to be emancipated from his parents in HS. Rumor flying around is that he was so uncomfortable with his dad being ok with his friend banging his mom. This was around the time of the movie they did together.
If you've seen anything from the kid lately.... He's got some mental issues for sure.
Children need boundaries and routines to thrive. They are not emotionally capable of handling such a confusing situation and it will absolutely screw them up. It’s sadly why a huge % of Hollywood children are so screwed up. The Smith children are no different.
This incident is less about race, and more about their marriage arrangement, IMO. She should defend her own honor.

everything in Hollywood is fake so I am still on the fence about this. I don't disagree though. Although Will and Jada came out looking real bad in all this and if fake, Chris comes out looking like a ***** for taking that slap.
They say in Hollywood any publicity is good pub. so who knows.
I still say that the incident was a promo stunt for the upcoming Source Awards show which is making a revival after a 17 year hiatus.

Looks like Will got banned from attending the Oscar Awards for 10 years. I guess if he wins again he can get it in the mail and thank them in a video.

Never forget that right after Smith slapped Rock, fellow actors went to him to talk him down and show him support, with Denzel apparently talking to Smith about the devil. Then, they cheered as he received an award and cried about wanting to be a vessel for love. Forget the slap for a second, the aftermath was the real bizarre ****.

The awards will be around. The show might be like the Miss America contest is now. Once the biggest event on television and is still around but hardly anybody knows it (I had to google it to see if still goes on).
