the six common game comparison for Dixon and Ingram. I just had the second Bama fan in three days get fighting mad at me because I had the audacity to say Ingram was the second best back in the SEC (per SECSports.com). I told both of them to be mad at the SEC for ranking them that way, not mad at me for stating facts. Also, I know where to find the SEC data but can anyone link the NCAA rushing ratings?

/Thanks

a glorified, overboard, media circuit award. Im not saying Dixon should have won it, or hell even been there but ITS a TEAM award.

Garbage.

First, there is no doubt in my mind that AD is the best Back in the SEC and one of the best in the country. Looking at the SEC stats kind of confuses me and gives Bama a little argument. link: http://www.secsports.com/...ll/confldrs.htm#conf.wi2

In the SEC stats, Ingram leads in everything except Avg YPG. Is the Avg G how they come up with the leader and the pecking order?

Per NCAA, AD is #6 in the nation while Ingram is #12. To me, that means that there needs to be 11, "I'm better than the Heisman Trophy Winner" trophies awarded.

not saying Dixon should have won either but Ingram? Really? Good back, will make some cash but I would have given it to Mr. Stanford or The Nebraska beast.

If you were putting together an SEC allstar team, who is the first person you take?

/The answer is NOT Ingram.
//Most of the Bama fans say Tebow</p>

about the Hiesman and said, "We have the Pope of college football joining us now-Bino who did you vote for in the Hiesman?"

Pope: "Colt McCoy"
Radio Guy: "Why is that Pope."
Pope: "Because I felt he should win."

Awesome insight.........And logic may I add.

I have nothing against Ingram winning it. They were 13-0, and Ingram had the all purpose stats behind hard competition in the SEC. He had the best championship game. I just take satisfaction that we had an even better running back than Ingram to play for us. But in no way do I think Dixon should win it in a 5-7 team. I'm not going to hold him being the 2nd best SEC RB against him. He deserved the award, and it wouldn't have been as tight if we didn't have so many free thinking writers in the Southeast not supporting the local favorite. I think Ingram deserved it more than Gerhart and it will be a cold day in hell when a defensive man wins it. So it was a close race which makes me think it came down to the championships. Colt and Tebow underperformed, Suh's team lost, Gerhart didn't even play one, Ingram had a great game. Let him have it.

Heisman selection process. Its not a team award... Its for the best player in America. Not the best player on a top 5 team.

if you are going to say this:

So it was a close race which makes me think it came down to the championships. Colt and Tebow underperformed, Suh's team lost, Gerhart didn't even play one, Ingram had a great game.

then you might as well also say this:

Let him his team have it.

There is no need to vote.

Case Keenum wins the Heisman. He is responsible for more points than anyone in the FBS. His stats are better than any other player's stats.
