Love watching his in-season pressers. He won the off season media barrage but he is dialed in and gives direct concise and on point answers. Unwavering in his intensity. It will get the football fan pumped. This guy is taking care of business

He said he watched other games like a fan. Doubtful. I think he is a football addict who is constantly learning and reevaluating.

His post-game presser was great. Very clear and easy to follow. He had a sheet with stats ready to read off as well - prepared. He mentioned being pissed seeing a play where the huddle broke slowly because that is not how he is going to run the program. It wasn't to the standard he has set. Loved it. If I didn't know anything about Stein, I would assume he has been a HC for years.

Amazing how many have this defeatist attitude, Indiana, who had a way worse football program than UK historically, just went 16-0 and won the national title. Again, Indiana was BELOW UK's level all-time before Cignetti. Why can't UK win?

dream job or not we are anything but an elite level football school. I hope he is here for the next 20-30 years but if he really gets us rolling over the next several years a blueblood in need will come calling for certain. And that line is thrown in because it’s a reality.

Hopefully it is and that's not just coach speak like the tons of players that have said UK is their dream school. I get he said its a dream come true. He has family ties. Grew up watching them. He also played qb at Louisville because as others stated his dream school didn't recruit him.

So let's hope this is his dream job and he doesn't jump ship if he has success. I do believe this could be his dream job tho. I'm not arguing that.

I'd play for UK no matter the coach or if they was on probation if it was truly my dream school. And I say that because UK is my dream school. But mainly because it's all I knew growing up and it's family ties and way bigger than sports with me.

To be honest...with family dying or just not talking as much these days and sports being professional sports now days .... Idk if I'm even a die hard fan anymore. I mean I am but it just isn't the same as many have said.

I never loved professional sports. Only loved UK because of family ties...it's hard to feel the same way as back then but UK will always be my team no matter what.

Some posters on here only think as a fan. To not think there is a “possibility” of losing him to a bigger program later on is asinine, assuming he is as successful as we hope. And it’s quite possible he turns them down being happy where he is for a multitude of reasons. A bigger payday doesn’t always win out. Which is why I stated in my post I hope we can hang on to him but one poster just couldn’t comprehend that line of thinking. I can’t understand his so guess we are even.

I saw Will when he was at UL and his mom out one time during basketball season watching the Cats play a big game. Teased him a bit and he showed me a UK blue basketball t shirt on under his outer shirt.

If Stein is successful enough for a bigger school to come after him then that means Kentucky is rolling and the money will be there for him to stay. If Kentucky is that successful in the SEC then there's not gonna be too many places better to be at.

Why would you think they are bigger fans? I'd say they got more money for sure. Fan? No way in hell. Would never play for Louisville.
