Auburn will struggle to make the NCAA tournament. They are 14-12 (5-8) with Kentucky, @ Oklahoma, Ole Miss, LSU, & @ Bama remaining. They were ranked #20 & #23 in the preseason polls.

Lunardi had them in last week. We probably just changed that. Due to their noncon, they could probably still play their way back in. This loss had to be deflating though, so I doubt they do. It could go either way really. He's in for the cheap but he is also cheap to let go. I wouldn't wager on it.

Bruce Pearl left Auburn with no choice but to make his son the interim coach. But giving him a five year deal was ridiculous.

They had several BAD losses to really good teams non-conference although they did only lose to Houston 73-72.

Oregon is awful this year. Memphis mediocre.

Memphis is a sub .500 team overall, we beat them too.

Memphis and Oregon are bad. Oregon is 2-13 in Big Ten play and 9-17 overall. Memphis is 7-5 in the 17ing American Conference and 12-13 overall, and we beat them. Their wins over St John’s and Florida is what had them in the tournament before tonight. But now they’re probably on the outside looking in.
