I know he's got the kids future to think about but 5 days should be enough.....You HAVE to win that first game in this type of tourney to have any chance whatsoever......</p>

Graveman threw 55 on Friday, so not much of a difference there. Surely we aren't going to go with a bullpen special in our first tournament game. Five days is full rest. Stratton should be ready to go.

Woodruff, hope gravemen can go after a short start on friday, give whoever the ball for 2-3 innings max then pull them??? I know you ideally dont want to use the heck out of the bullpen that early in the tournament since we will be hopefully playing multi games this week/weekend.

Reed in the 8th and Holder to close
Pollo & Woodruff for 6-7 would be huge. Just get enough to win, and then release the beast, um, Stratton in game 2.

or at least was in our series. Also just noticed that he Stanek only threw 0.2 innings against UT Saturday and only 17 pitches. So I would be completely shocked if he did not pitch Tuesday.

Yeah he got hit in the shoulder with a line drive saturday and they had to take him out. He should be good to go by tuesday though.

If Cohen doesn't think Stratton should start Tuesday, I'm perfectly fine with that. He'll be plenty rested for the regional.
