Will the 3's keep falling today or will today be a grind it out game?

Flying around the country this much is tough on any team. I hope they will show a strong burst of energy today and be shooting the 3's consistently, but I don't think we will show as much energy as we have the past three games. It depends on UCLA's defense. If they attack us like Depaul did then we will rain threes. Otherwise we will have to settle for other opportunities.</p>

It's not just about our three's falling. If we sit and throw the ball around the three point line like when did in South Padre and settle for shots, we will get beat by just about every one. If we consistently try to get the ball inside to JV and play in the inside outside game and pentrating and dishing it out to shooters, we will be fine. That's what Stans should preach every day. Playing tough D and rebounding should be enphasized too-it is our identity of a Stansbury team.

If they do... we win.
If they don't... it will most likely be a grind it out game.

Face it, we are not that good of a team when our threes don't fall. Our offensive scheme (if you want to call it that) is not good enough to beat good teams when the threes are not falling. I liked what Rick said after halftime of the Depaul game. We have to get the ball inside to Jarvis more often this year. It is his responsibility to make players create opportunities inside and I don't see that happening.

Again, if the threes continue to fall then we don't need to worry about all this.
