I say if he goes, hand the team to an Asst for next year and depending on his results, give him a 1 or 2 year contract to get us through until we break ground on the new arena. I think it would be foolish to let him go now unless he starts posturing for a raise and contract extension. Granted the guy is a not a good coach by any stretch of the imagination, but with Stansbury gone recruits in MS will be up for grabs again. The best thing that could happen for us (for recruiting the state of MS) would be for them to do a coaching search at the same time that we are.
