I just got on the gameday site to look up parking information and saw there was going to be a flyover.

May not cause your bone marrow to vibrate uncontrollably. I don't know what planes they're going to use. It may the equivalent of those American Revolution re-enactors who stand in the end zone at New England Patriots' games.

My wife's cousin was a Marine Pilot and flew over 500 flights from the air craft Carrier Kittyhawk (More than another pilot ever at the time). When they shot the file footage for the first "Gulf War" that was him and yes I thought that was cool.

I am not military so I don't really know what or how that exactly works but Marines are a part of the Navy I do believe.

Yes, the Marines are a branch of the Navy. In fact, about half the Navy football players usually become Marine officers...

Here's a flyover from last year's Navy v Wake game. These pilots were demoted a rank for flying over so low - probably not a good idea in the middle of a major metropolitan area like downtown Atlanta.
