Consider what is happening with COVID outbreaks with teams like Ruggers and player demands out west. Conf only with B1G & P12 and +1 home only with ACC.
If we do get started a couple problems during the season could shut it down.

What's the Vegas line on completing a season?

Completing the season? I would go with very low odds of that. Well maybe completing it but without all the scheduled games being played. It's hard to imagine that we won't see more Rutgers situations.

I’ll stick with what I said earlier

Zero, Zilch, Nada, Ain’t Happening, No Way!

best odd are still much less than Loyd Christmas getting some action with Mary Swanson

I’d say just cue Conor for a quicker visual answer

Details:
Schedules are out
Media is hungrier for CFB than many fans are
College presidents see $$$ slipping away
Fans see no possibility of a season or completed season

I think it starts but the question will be how many finish?
Will government tell them to shutdown or will conferences make that call? How many possible lawsuits will occur due to this?

Regarding the topic, I was thinking about this last night.

First of all, I think if I had to bet one way or the other, I would bet against college football completing the season.

However, I do feel, based on most conferences going with a conference only 10 game schedule, this would be a great year to expand the playoffs to 16 teams. You won't have any cross conference games to help judge the overall strength of a given conference, so why not expand the playoffs, and maybe give the top two teams in each of the P5 conferences an auto-bid, and then have the committee pick six at-large teams, and seed them. Hell, could even do like the NCAA and attempt to make the the first two opening rounds as regional as possible, cutting down on travel.
