Will this be a 2 win season?

This is quickly turning into another very disappointing season. Allowing 42 points to an extremely bad football team is embarrassing and very telling about how the rest of the season will end up. I see only three games left on the schedule that UK can possibly win and two of them, Vandy and South Carolina are very questionable. I never expected six wins but to get only two....

Vandy got blown out by GA Tech yesterday. USC barely won at home. UT has struggled against inferior teams.

This Team will win more than 3 Games.

I thank the SC or Vandy game Ky could win but as many pts as they gave up they could lose to..

UK may win 1 SEC game on offense alone.but I can't see this defense allowing us to win multiple of USC, Mizzou, UGA or Vandy.

We might win 3, but 2 is a more likely scenario. To get to 3 wins, we are going to need a meltdown out of SC or Vandy.

I'd bet on two. For the people who think we beat Mizzou, we won't (they played Georgia very tough yesterday). We won't beat South Carolina. Candy is the best shot, but again, I doubt it.

These teams actually play defense. We're not going to score at will against them like we did against NMSU. And they will all run it right down our throat.

I posted this on another board.

I am not a sunshine pumper or a dead man walking, but I do realistically wonder just what is a winnable game for us, other than Austin Peay.

Certainly no betting lines out at this point, but I imagine that we will be the dog in every matchup (except Peay).

With our defense, hard to believe that there is any upset out there in our favor.

A two win season is highly likely. They may win one SEC game but it will be in a similar shootout fashion as yesterday. This team is dismal, especially on defense.

dline is Swiss cheese. All the sec school will run for over 300 yards per game. Don't see any wins in the sec.

Depends on if 'champ insists on passing. All NMST had to do yesterday was run it in to come within 6 points but like ALL coaches who played QB they call too many passing plays . lucky they didn't just run the ball every down.

I think Muschamp is one of the worst coaches in football and I really think the cats come away with a win next Saturday.

I think our crappy team can beat 3 other crappy teams on our schedule. However, this is no reason to celebrate or feel good about our team. We are no better than when Joker was our coach. I'm in the group that wants our coach and Mitch thrown out on their heads.

It looks as if we're playing defense with 8 players on the field.

We won't beat any SEC teams unless something DRASTICALLY changes!

I would say the odds are slightly in favor of us winning 3 games.

AP is a near lock. There are enough subpar teams left on our schedule that we could steal another.

Don't know which one that would be. Some game where we get breaks on turnovers, the other team has DBs slip and fall, and we win like 38-35.

That being said, I don't expect us to be favored in any of those. But if you're a .300 hitter who gets 4 plate appearances, you usually get a hit.

3 wins I think. Somehow we beat Vandy.

Mitch and Stoops get rid of Elliot. Blame defensive struggles on Elliot, injuries, and lack of depth. Obviously, according to them will all be corrected by next year.

Nothing says UK football like next year, best year...always next year.

Why do UK fans always embarrass themselves by putting UT on a list like the above? UT will ***** slap us in Knoxville just like they did last year in Lexington and the year before in Knoxville.

And no if UK was "decent" they would not have a shot at winning the east as UT and FL are two automatic losses, as is bama this year on the schedule. Thus, we have 3 built in losses even if we were "decent" so yeah, no shot at the east with this year's schedule. Hell having 2 losses built in each year to FL and UT pretty much means UK never wins the east unless the whole east has 3-4 losses...then maybe there's a Lloyd Christmas type chance.

They're setting Eliot up to be the fall guy so they can extend this circus for one more year. I don't think it's going to fly though.
