This statement from Will Wade somewhat reminded me of a comment from Cohen about our baseball roster prior to his first season as coach. Cohen said that we had a bad case of good-kid-itis. He said that he had a lot of really good kids that made good grades & stayed out of trouble, but they just weren't good enough baseball players.

I don't like the guy at all, but that's pretty damn funny. And true...

People that think that money-making college sports still has anything to do with college are something special
The NCAA and the idea of the student-athlete are a joke. They only care to enforce rules pertaining to students and eligibility when they think they can get away without any pushback (see: Spivey).

It is called collecting a paycheck and chilling out on the court, it is problem almost everywhere now, not alert, not aware, not trying hard, just wait until a player goes ballistic every 12th game

This is a giant nothing-burger. So, Wade found stuff to complain about in his team's blowout win because he knows mistakes will cost them wins against more competitive teams. BFD.
