Who knows what the rules are anymore and even if they do, can predict how the NCAA will enforce them, but it used to be that both years have to be lost to injury to get a 6th year from a medical redshirt.

ETA: It looks like he played games in all three seasons at community college, so I'm guessing he did get a medical redshirt for one of those and should be good even under the old rules.

He would be fine depth but he is injury prone. Can't really rely on him.
