Did anyone else think he talked too much ? It was as if he got paid by how many words he said. Often times he was describing previous play while next play was being run. He said "Golden Eagles and Bruins" on every play. Also said QB's name on every hand-off.

Or at the beginning of the 4A game people were ringing cowbells and he announced they wouldn't be permitted because they could be used as weapons and he got booed lol

He constantly talked even when the crowds were loudly cheering and the bands were playing. Thought it must be a recording! He was a distraction.

His "history lesson" about historic Williamsburg before the game along with constantly babbling about the VHSL was annoying. They needed to just play music during the pre-game and have him announce the GAME only at other times.

Funny thing. The VHSL frequently emails guidelines to every school about P.A. announcers basically saying they should never talk and that it is not about them. The one day they actually control things, they do the opposite.

The guy at Williamsburg was terrible. He has been around for years, heck he may be employed by VHSL.

He has a good PA voice, but he talks entirely too much. He said "Golden Eagles" and "Bruins" during or after every play. I think everyone in stadium knew who was playing. He did not have to tell us.
