KC has too much young talent to keep unless a lot of them take below market deals like Kelce.

Between a lost head office and being closer to bad influences, seems like that's a suboptimal landing spot for him.

I got the impression he thinks he's worth more than he was offered by anyone, so wanted a chance to prove it but wasn't getting that opportunity in KC.

eta: top 10 LBs make $10-$20 million / year. If he can prove he belongs in that group, he would be looking at a much bigger contract next year.
