They scored only 10 points in the 2nd half, and 7 of those were on the 1-inch-short-first-down-and-the-offsides-interception-where-they-ignored-the-facemask drive.

Our defense doesn't have a difference maker. When you have somebody that can demand a double team, or a DB that can play lock down man to man defense, you can hide a couple of weaknesses. With the 99 defense, we had one true lock down corner and another that was passable as a lock down corner on most people's second best receiver. This year, we've got 8 solid players on D, but if none of them are real difference makers. Even worse, we're trying to hide people at the same position. If we had to hide one DT and one LB, I think we'd be better off than trying to hide two linebackers. Plus, the people that would really help hide our lb's would be the DE's, which is our second biggest weakness.<div>

is not being aggressive enough on defense. That's clearly on him. If we are trying to put pressure on them and make sound adjustments throughout the game and still give up say, 20-30 points- then that's a talent issue.

I'm much more upset about that than anything else that happened in the game- including getting stopped on the one inch line and any bad call that the officials made.
