Did you forget to remind us of tonight's Go Daddy Bowl? I was tuned in early in the game when I heard Connery's name mentioned. I had forgotten that he played for Toledo.
I didn't catch the first reference to him in time to catch the context of it, but after hearing his name, I watched and listened to see if I could spot him again. I assumed he was on offense, but when they finally did spotlight him again late in the game, it was for a nice open field tackle, so I guess defense is his specialty now.
Which is not surprising, since they had a running back that already had almost 300 yards rushing and 5 TDs by the time I cut the game off with 5 minutes remaining.
