Good news there. Wasn't MC ranked the #1 high school baseball team in the nation this past year? Also, didn't we get a commit from another MC player, a pitcher I think?

I’ve seen it mentioned. I’ve paid little attention to hs baseball since covid started. Crazy when a MS hs is no. 1 in the nation in anything.

I wouldn’t normally get too excited about a player rated that high but it was mentioned that he is a very good student so maybe we get him to school. I’d say that ranking might put him at about 4th to 7th rd typically. The draft isn’t very typical though anymore.

They were #1 for a while, but lost a couple of games late. Finished #4. They just destroyed some really good teams last year. Beat Oak Grove 21-5, West Jones 11-0, NW Rankin 20-2, 9-0 and then 3-2 and 11-1 in the finals.
