I say I hope to one day to not have to live vicariously through other teams success ... Last year it was MSU and the fact we kept the Iowa game close

We lost in OT to Wisc on the road pretty damn close. Yes I hope to dominate again but damn good effort by the boys

What say you. We were an OT win of being in this game

I know it sucks now crying over spilt milk...

Thing is we weren't healthy enough at the end to win this game if we were in it with TA hammy.

Not crying over spilled milk, I know what happened at OSU and Iowa didn't PSU lose 49-10 to Pitt? What I am saying is we win in OT at Wisc we very well be beating Penn St for champ game

You are so right plano. We had a good year. No one said we were the best. With a healthy TA we keep both Iowa & OSU games close. We were hurt big time on the O-line and at QB. It is what it is. Our recruiting has improved and by next year, so will our depth. NU could beat Penn State if that's what you mean.

I despise Penn State, but they must make better halftime adjustments than anyone in the country.

It is a tie ballgame. What a comeback by PSU. Wisconsin just can't get anything going in the second half.

Why is the Wisky defender (#25) wearing a hoodie while playing? The game is indoors. Weird.

It's pretty obvious you can throw all over Wisconsin if you have a competent qb. This bodes well for Nebraska in the future.

No. We were assured above that we would be easily handling Penn St in this game if we didn't happen to finish 3rd in the division No worries

Again, no one said we were world beaters. We are, however, good enough to beat Penn State. Through all our deficits we are 9-3. Close to 10-2. Stop with the self-loathing.

As crazy as it may sound, this team may have actually overachieved. re: All conference teams. Blame injuires all day but every team had them, ours werent different. OSU destroyed us and would again. We do not match up with them and we hung with Wisky but lost, no excuses, we had our chances but didnt convert.

I think depth issues still haunt us for a few more years. It takes time to build things back up across the board and one class wont do it. More like 4-5 good classes in a row and addressing the weak areas which we have plenty of.

We face this Penn State next year. They are on a roll and playing very tough and they are young. No cake walk with them next year.

I will give PSU. Their due, but not a great team that I am scared of, nor Wisc for that matter
